Today we went for our 1st Antenatal class..it's really fun especially with all our husbands there helping us :)

We did some Yoga exercises then lecture on the myths about pregnancy... learnt so many things! The instructor kept using me as a demonstrator..haha

After the class we went to Suntec to shop...here is Honey enjoying the laksa!

Heart to Heart

Ok, you might be asking "What's the big deal with a small little hamster?!"...

Sigh... cos to me, it's a big deal, though to you might not..we all have preferences and our likings may not be the same.. that's when respect comes in right?

Today a friend, Mr Lee, asked if i need to place an obituary! Oh man...how insensitive can he get?! Though we're good friends, he joked about the whole issue, just minutes after i realised Funshine's dismiss... sigh...

Friends should laugh and cry together... no joking matter when death is concerned... even though it's a little mammal, but we had lived together for the past 3 years...

Such a gloomy evening... the sky looked threatening... it's better to stay at home with such a fierce look from the sky.. the poetic side of me said that heaven is mourning with me...

Latest Updates

My leave will be from 4th July 06 to 13th April 07, extended for another 2 weeks, as requested by my P. ok, so it's about 10 months of leave.. thank God for a very supportive Hubby and many colleagues and friends who assured me that this is not that bad a decision and i wont regret it.

i appreciate many opinions given and they are really useful for me to prepare me for what's to come but we have already decided to see Denden through his first year so i hope friends will continue giving us their support and love DenDen when he's out. Haha.... to each his own lah, for me, i just want to be a mother who is always near her kid :)

A Mummy's Say

Yesterday my P asked me again of my leave forms are ready...oh well, actually i thought of submitting later cos i might need time to think still but since he want it so badly, i filled it in on the spot, ofcourse i know more or less what i want.

I have applied from 4th July 2006 to 31st March 2007. That's about 9 months leave in all. 4th July because DenDen is expected to be due on 14 July. Should he be out earlier, they'll push my leave forward accordingly.

By March next year, DenDen will be 9 months old, quite big for infant school and at least, not so fragile and more independent. 9 months is quite long to be a housewife, almost a year but DenDen is really precious to me. I want to make sure i give him a great headstart in life which makes all sacrifices worth while. Should there be a need to extend my leave further or totally resign, i'll have to see how DenDen progresses ;)

It can be very tiring looking after a baby full time but i told honey i can sit there and stare at him and poke him, a baby of our own! Maybe that'll take months to sink in! A little human made from 2, what i've always dreamed!

Anyway, if you're a mum, you'll know what i mean :)

Superman

My Hubby is a Superman!! No one is perfect, but he's really a Superman. Yes, there may still be things that he can't do, but to me, he's really a Superman! Haha... My Hubby is a Superman!

"Huey"

Yesterday i was reading the disney book to Denden and Honey bursted out laughing...

ok here it goes... how to you pronounce "Huey"? To me... a Singaporean or chinese, i pronounced it as "Huey" (flower in Hokkien) or similar to Tau Huey. It didnt occur to me that it's a DISNEY book so this name is really out...

So where did this "Huey" appear in the book? Do you know that Donald Duck has 3 nephews? YES! It's the name of one of them! "Huey", Dewy and Louie. I have no prob with Dewy and Louie. So i was reading "Huey" all the while!

It should be pronounced as "Hue-ey", not Flower! Haha!!!

Bones Bones

Just now i let out a loud "Argh!" Honey was so worried that he ran in from outside...

Aiyah... it's my precious little baby inside, rolling some bones or something! I was putting my hand on my tummy then i felt this bone bone thing going across... it's quite painful leh... this is not the first time le! I wonder what's he doing inside?! trying to reach for my lungs or heart?! i can literally see the bone thing sticking out of my tummy and moving! Yah...interesting sight but not at all comfy for mummy!

Sweet Sleep

Little gestures from Honey even at night are really sweet... whenever we zzz and our hands met, dear would hold my hand even when he's in dreamland till the next day! I wasn't really sleeping so i witnessed the whole thing. awww.... i told him in the morning and he said "see..i even want to hold your hands in the sleep!" haha..

yesterday i told him that i cannot lie on my back to sleep cos according to book s its really bad for DenDen. I love lying on my back though, cos thats really the most comfy position for me. Many times through the night, gary would start turning me over to my side! He actually looked out for that and made a point to turn me throughout the night. aww..... what a sweet hubby!!! :)

What a beautiful rainbow! It rained heavily just now... while i was zzz in the car, i suddenly opened my eyes and saw this huge rainbow! Wow...manificent!

Today, my colleague, LingLing brought some food cos her baby 1st month celebration! I ate 2 red eggs! Hee... i'll have those for Denden's 1st month cele too!

Went to fecth my mum home and stopped by to look at my little coco!
