Happy New Year!

Today is Chinese New Year and Gary and I are really very tired! Let's talk about last night first. We rushed from place to place, went to my parent's side for lunch, went home, went back again for reunion dinner then rushed to Gary's granny's house for reunion too. Wow...but fabulous meal! I told honey i'll chiong for the abalone first!

Today we went to Gary's granny's house again, and because she's the eldest, all the families will gather there. This is our first year giving ang baos and ofcourse we're excited yet a bit heart pain lah. Guess what?! Eventually we received more more than what we started out with! We never thought we would still get Ang baos! God is really good huh!

Many of the aunties came and ask me if i'm expecting. Yay!!! Finally they can see the buldge!!! I have been waiting for this moment! Jayden is introduced to many uncles and aunties and they're all very excited to see him next chinese new year! Wo ho...

A Great Blessing

Just 2 weeks ago, Gary was telling me that he hopes to be able to change our car in 2 years time. Guess what?! His mother just bought a new car and wants us to take over her current car, a Corolla! Woooo.... the Corolla is a pretty new car and definitely more luxurious than carsi. It was truly a great blessing from God!!!

I am on 2 days MC from today... this morning when i was getting ready for work, i suddenly felt so breathless.... cant stand so i laid on the sofa. I had giddy spells... went to zzz till 330pm then went to see doctor.

Doctor checked me pretty thoroughly and called Dr Yvonne for the blood test result to prove that i'm not low in blood count. yes, my blood count is normal but blood pressure low... *blur

Dr Yvonne also said that judging from the blood test baby seems normal *phew

Called by Name

It's really amazing how a little life and be embedded within another life. Ofcos i am amazed at the fact that God picks us and how He made everything way before it happened. Like what Pastor said, God already knows Jayden way way way before, maybe when i'm still a rebellious child of Him! Wow... yet He has prepared Jayden for me... How can i ever thank Him enough?!

If you know our story, Jayden is really a miracle child which we never imagined will exist till at least 2 years later. That's why we named him "Jayden", God has heard. I have always wanted to have a baby but Gary wants to settle down first. But look at Gary now, happily stepping into Fatherhood. We're grateful for Jayden and really a healthy baby is always on our prayers.

When God gives a gift, it'll always be a perfect gift, this kind of ease my fears and worries on all the "ifs". I wanna believe that Jayden is perfectly made and He will take care of him.

Keys

This morning when i wanted to leave for work, i couldn't find my keys! Oh No!! They're not to be found and i guess they're in Honey's bag! I called Dear and he didn't answer his phone... Oh no... i thought i would have to go on leave for the day since i can't get out! Didn't know where Dear kept the spare keys too...

I told God, I just made a committment to Him and now i'm in a dead lock. Immediately, Dear called and told me where the spare keys are...Phew.... What a scare but Oh boy, God hears everything!

Presence of God

Honey would always wake up at least one hour earlier than his "wake up" time so that he could pray. I find that amazing because he is in the morning session so that means he has to wake up at about 5am everyday!

I have decided to try that, waking up earlier to seek God. Usually i would find my own time in the day, well, time for a change. Ofcos my waking up earlier is not that early in fact, cos i usually wake up at 9am so i woke up at 8am. Wow... I feel like i'm immersed into the river of God once again. Felt so dry for some time and this soaking experience is really fantastic. I'm going to make this my new year goal. Try it if you dun know what i mean, if you have been always doing that, aren't the presence of God more precious than anything else?!

Great Unity brings forth Great Friendship

Yesterday we had the priviledge to for Bro Vic and Sis Yvonne's house warming. Their house is really beautiful, all designed my sis yvonne herself! There's one room that has different coloured walls! The whole house is very arty, giving people the impression of a studio, a nice, warm cosy nest.

I get to see the other side of our leaders, the fun side which i guess not many occasion we'll get to witness that! They had so much fun toasting for the couple and the zone and there's such a strong unity and bond amongst them. Really a heart warming experience!

Estee and i sat together the whole while and seeing Estee is like seeing an old friend. She is one who is very close to me other that Sabie. I love talking to her and i really enjoy her company. Truly in a lifetime if you have a few of such good friends, i dun call life wasted!

Like my title "Great Unity Brings Forth Great Friendships"...how true...

Sunny Day

I was greeted by the warmth of the sun when i opened my eyes. To my surprise, it's not raining and the air smells really fresh! I got up quick and greeted the day with joy! Rainy seasons can be depressing especially when Singapore experiences so much rain the past few weeks! The sun always brings hope and life!

God is like the sun. After the rain, the Sun will never fail to shine again, and sometimes bringing the rainbow too! I love the sun, I love how it represents God.

As i read sis kless' blog, she mentions people who had their securities placed in wrong places, how sorry i felt for those people. Instead of placing their securities in God, in their loved ones, they placed it all over the place!

One person kept reacting this way to me recently and i almost went mad because of that! I kept telling Gary and i guess he had enough too. Truly, such people repel people and they wonder why everyone is not paying attention to them! Sigh... please reflect bah...

It's gonna be a happy day for me still. Today is Friday, last day of school for the week! Wo Hoo... Adventure begins with our son Jayden!

Visit Dr Yvonne again

After 1 month, today i went to see Dr Yvonne again. I was so looking forward to it because i can finally see baby again! My mother-in-law went with me because Gary is working and can't take leave.

It was always very reassuring after every visit. Baby is so much bigger than last time! This time, he's 6 days ahead of time and Dr Yvonne said he's really tall, gonna be like Daddy! Mum saw baby too, scratching his face and showing us his back all the time. We poked him a bit and he just put his little hand on his head...hmm..what was he thinking?

You might realise I used "he"because we saw his little er hem.... well ofcos its not that clear but Dr Yvonne said she's 80% certain its a boy! Yippee!!! My mother-in-law had 2 boys so she said i might have the same fate but i love boys! hope the next one will be a girl though.

Baby is good, doing great, lying on his back, and his hands over his head all the time. Maybe a thinker?! I had a blood test too...argh...3 tubes!!! So painful...

The next visit will be in Feb, will have to stay there for half a day cos baby will be doing a thorough check oh.... i'm feeling good today :)
