Band of Brothers -> Loyalty to the end

Yesterday church was so packed that many people were turned away. We were blessed to be able to be seated at the lobby, but the presence of God can be strongly felt there too!

Pastor Phil preached a very powerful message...on Loyalty. Wow...sounds like some hong kong movies involving triads! "Unresolved offences breed disloyalty" <= Pst Phil. I was carrying some unforgiveness in my heart before i came to church. I was bitter at how people treated me these few days...i was very unforgiving indeed. I admit it, cos if i can admit it, i know where the problem lies and i can deal with it!

Pastor said we ought to forgive every single day, and not let a grudge be there for more than an hour. Oh!!!! Ok, in the name of Jesus, i release forgiveness and i'll never look into that again. God, forgive me too. "How you deal with the pain is going to affect your destiny" <= Pst Phil.

Pastor Phil told us his experience with a disloyal man in his church years ago. He lost many people because of that. "I cannot allow a disloyal spirit..."<= Pst Phil. "Loyalty is never loyalty if you're not faced with a chance to be disloyal" <= Pst Phil. Many great men in the bible faced difficult decisions that tested their loyalty. Some stayed on forever, many were loyal initially, but made one wrong decision to be disloyal and that ended their destiny. We're to be like a "band of brothers" always sticking around, hanging around. This way, we will move!

What does loyalty mean? Who are we to be loyal to? I have my own answers. How about you? Are you going to stay loyal even when situations are not in favor? I am...
