Loving this life every minute
We have been married for about a week. How's married life so far? Many people may think i look tired... well, i guess i am still trying to get use to everything.
Friends, dun worry, for i am really enjoying this new life with Gary every single day. I came to realise that being married is really a very humbling experience. It is no longer one but two. We have to be selfless. This one week, i have seen the change in my life, my lifestyle, my everything. Gary becomes the top priority and his comfort becomes my comfort. I dun mind waking up at 630am every day just to make breakfast or wash up all the clothes. I dun mind washing to toilet while he is bathing. I dun mind letting him have the higher say. Wow... marriage is good!
It can be challenging for me, especially knowing that my beloved Coco started ignoring me, my parents showed no expressions when i returned home, no more cable TV, no more car, no more waking up at 10am, no more clothes washed and ironed, no more 5mins walk to school...no more everything... emotionally it can be pretty daunting but i know God has given me the grace and the strength to face this new life. "Leave and cleave" right?
Despite all these, if i can choose again, i would still choose to be married...to the one i love so dearly. Waking up everyday feeling him close is a plus point. Going to bed every night, saying goodnight face to face is a plus. Doing housework together is a plus. Exploring new recipes is a plus. Talking every second at home is a plus. All in all, in the name of love.
We just need to adjust our lifestyles a bit and after the initial getting use stage, we'll be soaring. It can be tiring now, but God has given us a really exciting life ahead! No sweat!
