Mindset
Yesterday's prayer meeting was revelational. I felt very weak since morning and i literally dragged myself to prayer meeting yesterday. Upon reaching, i really braced myself to pray together with the congregation and standing in the gap with my leaders, my pastors. I really felt very good thereafter!! God is good..all the time!
After the prayer meeting, we had another meeting with Pastor Lilian. Saw many of my good friends there. Pastor shared a short yet powerful message to us, on how we should always renew our mindset, especially now in the midst of our building fund. She quote several examples on how we can, unknowingly slip into the poverty mindset. Many people would try to save here and there and always say "this season is my poorest season because i am giving to the building fund. I can't buy this and that.." Yes, we need to sacrifice but remember, God can still bless us with more than enough to meet our daily needs! If we're not careful, we'll fail to see other blessings and only focus on our own giving!
We have to be even more generous people even at this time. We received an ang bao that is less than $5 for our wedding! can you imagine that?! Gary was telling me from this, we can tell the spirit behind every giving. Money does have a smell, whether it smells good, or it stinks. If we give, why let our givings stink? We wanna give God something that is of a sweet fragrance, we wanna give our friends the best that we can!

Pastor laid hands on us and told us to stand near our leaders. We really felt proud to stand next to sis kless and we want to be her strong defence line, not an ordinary defence line, we want to be her first defence line! this is the time to stand strong and hold the fort. No weapons formed against us shall ever prosper!
