Your Word is Your Bond

Pastor always teaches us that our word is our bond. Let your yes be a yes and your no, no.

Once a decision has been made, whether its last week or last month, its still a decision and how can we come back to the making the same decision over and over again? How many times? I would say, just once is enough. For example, i have made the decision to stay in Seng Kang. This is a one time decision. 2 months later, i cant simply forget that decision and decide to stay in Tampines now. Actually i dun even need to think over this but because i think and think and think over the impossible Tampines, i became so frustrated over everything!

Have you forgotten your decision whether its one day or one year ago? How about your first love?

We get sick and tired of things sometimes. We just have to carry on. Do you have the tenacity to go on or just one who simply throws in the towel as and when you feel like it? A few weeks back i was facing really tough situations but at the end of everything, i still told sister klessis "Yes, i still want to serve in the cell group" I can admit mistakes and move on, so can you! Because i know i need to be rooted here, and this is where i'll be happy!

Everyone knows whats going on. Dont try to hide. Nomatter where you go, your attitude follows. Ask yourself, is this really what you want? We have no power to change our environment, let alone change other people's environment. We are always given a choice, even God says so. Make a decision now and let this be the last time you make it (com'on, how many times must i say this?). Some decisions just cant keep repeating!

Be a person of your bond! Whatever i told God, i make sure i do it!
