Really Extraordinary

Was at the morning and evening sessions of Emerge...truly, it was an amazing experience!

Guess i havent been attending youth services for long! All lights were off except for some spotlights for praise and worship, and i needed some time to adapt to it! Haha...but praise and worship was great. 1 full hour for both sessions! First session pastor Kong preached about why we need to have a strong campus ministry and the desire to bring in more youths into our church, into the Kingdom of God. All of us shouted revival for the institutions we are in or have a burden for and faith really arises in our hearts! Pastor called for those students studying Media and Arts related subjects and both he and pastor Sun laid hands together on those who came down, meaning 2 hands on one head! It was really a sight! Power seems to be doubled!

The night service was even more phenomenal. The service was taken to a great height when pastor kong sat on the steps with Sun and played a song he had written some ten years ago! It was super touching and all of us fell to our knees and really wept before the presence of the Lord. From the stage where i was, i could see the leaders weeping too, i guess they were weeping tears of victory, as they had overcome all the rejections years back and still held on to their faith and beliefs. I think Yu Hao should hear that song because it speaks of being rejected and seeing many people stray away but God always promises to be there.

I was glad i was there. I want to catch what my pastors dream of doing. i want to be involve in the revival of the campuses. Lord, we are all here, use us!

Sis kless is having sore eyes. Oh no... i hate sore eyes and i can really understand how helpless one can feel. Sister kless all of us are praying for you, hope you get well soon and see you in Emerge tomorrow!
